    Nice blog post! I hadn’t heard of her, nor her book, however after reading this I’m going to check out her work. I had some wild association when reading this post. “Sacred Pain” by Ariel Glucklich might be of interest to you. His work relates to the topic, albeit in a tangential manner. He’s not written specifically on shame, however, his book is on the transformative power of emotions and painful experiences and how they affect our consciousness. What might also interest you is the work of Kathryn Stockton Bond. She’s written specifically on the topic of shame. Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick has written in Touching Feeling about the the relationship between feeling, learning, and action. At any rate, your blog post made me think of these three people.
