Aangehouden man blijkt geen verdachte aanslagen zo staat nu overal (nou ja bij de serieuze media dan) te lezen. Zoals iedereen eerder maar al te gretig noteerde dat we onze eigen terrorist in huis hadden (die nederland op de kaart zette aangezien er wereldwijd aandacht voor was), blijven veel media nu toch een beetje achter (en dan heb ik het niet alleen over de radicaal-rechtse sites). Bij deze dus: het is vastgesteld dat hij niks te maken heeft met de aanslagen in Madrid.

Volgens Geenstijl.nl (en dat is een reden om het bericht te wantrouwen!) heeft de Iraaks-Friese jongen die zijn vriendin in brand stak een rap gemaakt waarin hij zijn spijt betuigt. Het nummer heb ik wel, maar nog niet beluisterd. Zoals gezegd, de bron is Geenstijl.nl en dat is niet echt betrouwbaar.

Interview in het Nederlands Dagblad met Dick Leurdijk van het instituut Clingendael over de dreiging met terreuraanslagen.

” ,,Het woordgebruik doet mij heel erg denken aan de bedreigingen die Amerika kreeg, voorafgaand aan de aanslagen van 11 september 2001. Die kwamen toen van het Taliban-bewind in Afghanistan en spraken van krachtige, niet te voorkomen aanslagen. Nu wordt er gesproken over een islamitische aardbeving in Nederland en ook Italiï¿½ is kortgeleden nog bedreigd door de al-Masri-brigades, die stelden dat de aarde onder de voeten van elke Italiaan zal schudden.
