Mijn eigen stemwijzer, ahum gebaseerd op een
overzicht van het NRC, aangevuld met enkele
gegevens van de Stemwijzer. Niet dat u
dan alles weet he, bijvoorbeeld u kunt wel fan zijn de VVD maar tegelijkertijd
een hekel hebben aan D66. Aangezien die twee partijen in dezelfde eurofractie
zitten, betekent een stem voor de VVD ook een indirecte stem voor D66.

The information age has completely engulfed the Middle East, and Saudi Arabian is by no means an exception. This article is aimed at radical islamic sites, but it can also account for website of the (e.g. Dutch) radical right such as:

Stormfront

Graverdammer

Nieuwrechts

“Dealing with online terrorism and its elements creates a Catch-22 situation. Extremist websites are used to spread a distorted and inflammatory ideology, but they are also windows into a disturbing world that need to be understood in order to be effectively dealt with. This, coupled with the fact that these websites can double as a terrorism early detection system, makes their continued presence almost mandatory.”

Op 30 mei 1969 liep een conflict op Curacao volledig uit de hand. Vaag herinner ik me iets ervan op tv gezien te hebben, maar meer niet. Niettemin is het een belangrijk moment in onze koloniale geschiedenis; het is een opstand tegen de onderdrukking door de Hollanders en sommige gevolgen zijn nu nog merkbaar (zoals de oprichting van Frente Obrero).

This week a report will be released by the Commission on British Muslims and Islamophobia. In this report they state that Britain is “institutionally Islamophobic” and that attacks on Muslims are more and more frequent. According to some the the war in Iraq has made the situation worse. ” Each of us is constantly being asked to apologise for acts of terror that befall the world.”

British hostility to Muslims ‘could trigger riots’ they state, and on this point the report has the same line of arguing as the Dutch AIVD-report that stated that the tone of the debate set by some opinion leaders, is creating fertile ground for radicals.
