“Stateless Rohingya…Running on Empty,” is a photo series by award-winning Thai photographer Suthep Kritsanavarinthe and depicts the plight of the Rohingya, an ethnic and Muslim religious minority from Burma, largely unknown to the world. Without citizen rights in Burma, many have fled to India and Bangladesh to seek refugee status. This video is a photo documentary and part of an advocacy campaign. Suthep’s photos as well as the information gathered demonstrate the consequences of Rohingyas’ statelessness on individual Rohingya refugees, local communities, and governments.
